the light at the end of the tunnel

At the end of a riding lesson you brush down your horse, unbuckle your spurs, hang up your helmet, dust off your pants and head out of the barn hand in hand with your riding buddy. You've been waiting for this moment for the last hour and a half. The light at the end of the tunnel? A glorious place of rest and peace...

...a warm car and a bag of TJoes Cheese Puffs that have been patiently waiting for you. The bag of puffs that your mom promised to you if you could make it through riding without complaining of the blister on your knee. The blister from last week that had completely healed and that your mom wrapped with an ace-bandage so you would not get another one on this day.

Yes the light at the end of of the tunnel is your treasure of Tough Puffs, as we have come to name them, and you devour them with joyful satisfaction.

And your mom is feeling no ounce of guilt over the use of the Tough Puffs bribe. In fact, she is so proud of her cleverly named Tough Puffs that she is wondering what else she might be able to use them for?

I think I'm going to have to get some of these "Tough Puffs" that you speak of. They might be very useful with my kidlets.

And that first photo, Tracey? Wow. Fantastic. Love.
