At the end of one very looooooong week and weekend we found ourselves
quite literally (and somewhat figuratively).........
Meanwhile, back at car...totally bored out of my mind.
And that concludes one of my more interesting moments from this past weekend.
Hahaha, funny now. But not then.
But all is well, the tank is full.
And Dad, we've employed a gong buzzer to go off when ever we go below 1/4th of tank.
Love, your daughter.
(How much do we owe you for the gas and containers?)

My husband still wears shorts and t-shirts that he's had for almost ten years... And he's only 24. I think that's worse!
I love reading your blog, Tracey!
This totally cracked me up. Love the play by play. Loved that you had your camera along to document. I'm sure your hubby is thrilled. (And can totally relate with the shorts comment.)
Btw...is that not an iPhone that hubby has? I think you deserve one too! Especially after your very busy week. I'm just sayin'...
Thank God your camera distracted you from the frustration of it all! Well done with the play by play. Congrats to your Dad for making your blog!
@Elise...oh my, that is a little scary.
@Stace...sigh, I'd love an iphone. Someday. Scott get his from his work.
Hilarious! Absolutely loved the family documentary.
We just got "Angry Birds" last week. It's actually pretty fun (except when you're out of gas on the side of the road, then...not so much, I'm sure).
You crack me up. Loved the story. Sorry it happened though! And yes, my husband has a pair of pants that he still thinks are cool that he bought the month we met 11 years ago...haha, husbands!
I was feeling a little glum...and then I read this post and I laughed out loud. Thank you. (Not laughing at you...laughing with you, right?)
oh darlin, been there done that, saw the stance in person.
GREAT post!! Loved your father's stance while the gas tank was being filled. :)
Oh my goodness. I can so relate. I'm notorious for running on empty...and not only the car. Great Story. BTW, love the shorts!
snicker. hehe. not fun at the time, for sure; but gosh, it makes for funny blog fodder. you forgot to mention the HEAT. y'all must have been literally hot under the collar as well as figuratively ...
btw, have you been hearing my sighs of contentment ... all the way from my home to yours ... as I've been savoring each sentence in Peace like a River??? My library actually had it, and I LOVE it. Think I'll for sure be buying it. It needs to live on my bookshelves. Thank you SO MUCH for the recommendation!
THis is a funny slice of life...i'm sure everyone can relate to parts, if not most of it. My favorite picture is of Scott running to flag down your dad. that's funny.
